Shared Reading:/Writers Workshop  Sylvester and the Magic Pebble

https://www.storylineonline.net/books/sylvester-magic-pebble/

This story will be used for writers workshop throughout the week.  We are asking the students to create a story 3 to 5 pages long about them finding a magic pebble.  Don’t worry, we will guide you through each day.

example:

Monday:  I found a magic pebble in my backyard.  It was shiny and round.

Tuesday:  When I rubbed it, it told me to make one wish.  It had to be a good one.

Wednesday:  What I really wanted was a brand new dress.  It had to be red and sparkly.

Thursday:   I made my wish and it came true.  My new dress was perfect!

Friday:  How lucky was I to find such a treasure!  I love my dress.
