2nd paragraph: About you: say your name, where you are from,  where your are a student at. What nationality you are Describe yourself using three adjectives. Say a negative sentence using other three adjectives.

 

 

A dialogue asking another student who are you, where are you from, what are you like, etc, also asking to describe another student.

1st paragraph: Write a list of the courses you are taking now. Tell who the teacher of each class is. Describe each course. Tell which ones are interesting, boring, easy, or difficult.

 

Week 2

2nd paragraph: Tell something about your school friends. What are they like? Tell at what time four of your classes are. At what time is lunch (el almuerzo)? . Say what time it is now.

(use the "menos" construction if the time is closer to the next hour.)

On this conversation the students describe courses, other students, and say the time they take some classes.

  • Simple sentences in first person (I), second person (you), and third person (he/she) using regular –ar verbs. Ex: I need…, you buy…, he looks for…

 

Week 2 

  • Learn how to ask simple questions in Spanish. “What do you need?”, “Where do I pay?”, etc.

1st paragraph: Use all the verbs and school supplies you have learn this week to talk about the purchases for the school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Week 2

2nd paragraph: .Describe what’s for you is a typical outfit of clothing. Tell what you wear to school. Use colors, talk about the prices of clothing at the store. Don’t forget to use the words expensive and cheap. 

 

On this conversation the students pretend to be at a clothing store. One student is the sales person and the other is the costumer.

PÁRRAFO 1: Talk about a typical day at school. Tell things you do in your classes. Use –ar verbs in plural, and the verbs ir, dar, and estar.

On this conversation the students talk about things they do in the classroom and the Spanish Club

PÁRRAFO 1: What happens when you go to a café? Do you and your friends go together?  Tell things you usually order, who takes the order, and who pays the order.

PÁRRAFO 3: Talk about the market and the supermarket. Talk about fruits, vegetables and meats. Talk about cans, packets, and bags.

  • Learn the verb “to have”, expressions like to have to do, going to do and feel like doing something.

PÁRRAFO 1: Talk about your family and extended family. Say where y’all are from. Say the names and how old three members of your family are, and when they turn years. When is your birthday? Use future tense to say who you or your parents are going to invite in honor of your birthday. Say what you have to do at home.

PÁRRAFO 2: Describe your house. Talk about activities y’all do together at the house. Use as much vocabulary as you can.

 

The students ask questions about the family and the house in a conversation.

  • Learn how to differentiate Ser and estar, two verbs to say to be.

  •  Learn the first- and second-person object pronouns: me, you, and us.
 

Week 1

- PÁRRAFO 1: Say what you do when you are happy, in a good mood, tired, etc. Or say when you are sad, or nervous. Say what you do what you do when you have a headache, a sore throat, a fever etc.  Use as much vocabulary as you can.

 

 

Week 2

- PÁRRAFO 2: Talk about what happens at the doctor’s office. Use object pronouns to talk about that hurts.

-PÁRRAFO 3: Say what happens at the pharmacy, and what the pharmacist does.

The students pretend to be at the doctor’s office and say what is wrong with them. The doctor prescribes medicines and sends the patient to the pharmacy.
