 CHAPTER 13 -UN VIAJE EN TREN - PART 2

 

Why will I learn this? So, you can talk about things you did once and are over, but this time using irregular verbs like to have, to put, to do, to be able, etc. Also, so you can talk about a trip in a train. In Latin America and Europe, travelling by train is very popular.

 Using the second part of the vocabulary words, your vocabulary packet, the grammar you have learned during this section, finish your autobiography by talking about a backpacking trip.

2nd paragraph:

Write a paragraph about what happens DURING the trip by train. Describe the train and say where you eat and sleep if the trip is long. (Present tense)

3rd paragraph:

Now, write another paragraph describing a trip by train you took once in the past. You can use paragraphs #1 and # 2 as a reference, but remember, now your verbs will be conjugated in PRETERITE. (Use stem-changing verbs and regular verbs)

·          Fill in the blank using vocabulary from Chapter 13 – Palabras 2 (During the trip)

·         Translate sentences from English to Spanish using the verb DECIR in present and preterite.

·          Conjugate in preterite: estar, andar, tener, poder, saber, poner.

·          Translate from English to Spanish sentences in present or preterite using: estar, andar, tener, poder, saber, poner.

  1. Learn SECOND part of the vocabulary Chapter 11 - Palabras 2 to learn how to talk  in Spanish about what happens at the foreing airport after arriving from an another country.
  2. Learn how to say use the verb "to know" in Spanish by contrasting the verbs "SABER" & "CONOCER"
  3. Work on the grammar packet to practice the SECOND part of the vocabulary and the grammar.
