I can am learning about financial math and how it relates for life after high school. I am learning how to add and subtract with money. to determine total amounts and change to be recieved.
I can identify coins and bills. I can add or subtract money to solve real world word problems. I can use the skills to play Money Monday travel/battle.

I am learning various skills that will be on the LEAP Connect test. I am learning about plotting points, charts and pictographs, using pre algebra equations and operations to solve real world word problems, financial problems, median and mean, and base 10 blocks .
I can work in a group or independently (choice) to complete a learning walk of LEAP Connect content. I can plot points, use charts and graphs to answer questions, determine when to use specific operations, solve algebraic equations, and find the median and mean of number groups, and solve for totals and change in financial situations.
In the bellringer journal-bellringer activity- work to solve problems using a price list , teacher walks around to give feedback. When done, students will replace journals.
1. Bellringer- in Bellringer journal- when done, students will put up bellringer book and pick up they LEAP skills notebook.
2. We will have a short review of all LEAP Connect skills that will be used in learning walk
3. Skills practice - Learning walk- Students will have a choice to work independently or work with a partner/group to complete various problems while working on skills that will be assessed on the LEAP Connect.
4. We will discuss the stations and and then students will use self assessment sheet to determine which areas they feel they have mastered and what weaknesses may need working on. We will do this by assessing individual comfort about each area covered. We will discuss.
5.Early finishers can work on LEAP skills practice in MobyMax
6. Closure- talk about upcoming activities
