APE agenda- April

 

WEEK OF 4/8-4/12

 

Monday 4/8

 

Learning Intentions

I am learning how to improve my fitness with the High 5/Fit 5 Program. I am learning to track my fitness progress, foods I have eaten ad water intake. 

Success Criteria

 I can perform exercises to improve strength. I can track my food and water intake and my daily exercise on a weekly tracker.

Bellringer

Class discussion about food choices or exercises we did over the Spring Break.

Lesson Activities

1.Bellringer discussion....  and then check on class plants.

2. We will discuss our daily PE goals and how they relate to our IEP goals.

3. 1 mile express video

4. We will fill out our goals tracker sheet

Tuesday 4/9

 

Learning Intentions

I am learning how to improve my fitness with the High 5/Fit 5 Program. I am learning to track my fitness progress, foods I have eaten ad water intake. I am learning to make HEALTHY and SAFE choices. I am learning ways to keep our food safe as well.

Success Criteriasss

 I can perform exercises to improve strength. I can track my food and water intake and my daily exercise on a weekly tracker. I can choose healthy foods from a list and name them on MyPlate. I can explain ways to keep food safe for us to eat.

Bellringer

Class discussion about food choices or exercises we did over the Spring Break.

Lesson Activities

1.Bellringer discussion....  and then check on class plants.

2. We will discuss our daily PE goals and how they relate to our IEP goals.

3. Go to the track and do 3-4 laps - Each student is working at different levels (if inclement weather, we will perform 1 mile express video)

4. After water break, We will fill out our goals tracker sheet

5. We will have a class activity in groups, with help from paraprofessionals to choose healthy items from an example plate and place them in the My Plate. We will also complete activity about keeping the foods that we eat safe. We will discuss how staying healthy keeps us safe and can prevent illness or obesity.  Eating healthy/safe foods is a safe choice.

6. If time allows, due to inclement weather, we will play UNO or Bingo, depending on time, to work on sportsmanship, following rules and directions and using fine motor skills.
