Course Description
READ 180, a reading intervention program, is a comprehensive system of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development proven to raise reading achievement for struggling readers in grades 4–12+. Designed for any student reading two or more years below grade-level, READ 180 leverages adaptive technology to individualize instruction for students and provide powerful data for differentiation to teachers.
Attendance Policy
Regular and prompt class attendance is an essential part of the educational experience. West Feliciana High School expects students and parents to exercise good judgment regarding attendance and absences. See the "directions for quarantined students" in the student handbook, if you become quarantined. If you are unaware of the expectaions of this, please contact Mr. Cutrer at the High School.
** If student turns in late work, excused or unexcused, I will grade it and enter into gradebook at my earliest convenience. I teach many students during the day and have a family at home, so please allow at least 24 hours, sometimes 2 days, to see a change in gradebook.
Grades
Students’ grades are based on daily participation, cooperation, daily assignments and assessments.
Grading Scale:
