At Home Learning

Spelling:  

  • Click on the "Spelling Word List" tab to the left to see this week's spelling words. 
  • Choose any tic-tac-toe activity from any board in your spelling notebook.
  • Complete one activity each day.
  • New! - Draw a picture and hide your spelling words in the picture
  • New! - Write the spelling word and draw a picture to match its meaning

 

  • New! - Create a word search with 8 spelling words and circle your words

 

Reading:

  • Log onto Raz Kids (https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login) 
    • Teacher's username: mmajowicz
    • Click on your child's name
    • Student password: child's first name
  • Read one book (or more if you'd like!) per day 
  • Answer questions using the online comprehension quiz for each book. 
  • I will be logging in to check student work.

 

Writing:

  • A writing prompt will be provided on my homepage.

 

Math:

  • Math assignments will be provided on my homepage.  It will be a combination of our Envision math lessons and math activities on IXL (www.ixl.com).  
  • Envision math lessons can be viewed through the Envision webpage (www.pearsonrealize.com) using the log-in information in your agenda. 
    • After logging in, students will be able to view in their Assignments tab:
      • videos of the lesson 
      • the Daily Common Core Review page (answers can be written on a piece of paper or printed out and completed)
      • Digital Quick Check assigned (completed online)
  • Work mats can be viewed by clicking on "E-texts" and then clicking on the topic number and lesson number. They are not digital, so just discuss with your family. We will assign them on the homepage.
  • Students can complete the Reteach & Practice page from their homework workbook which was sent home. Specific pages listed on the homepage.
  • All students have their login information for both Envision and IXL on the front page of their agenda.

 

Science/Social Studies:

  • Students should have their Science workbooks with them at home.  OR...
  • Log onto www.pearsonrealize.com and click on the Science tab.
  • Log-in information is that same as the Envision math.
  • Assignments will be posted on my homepage.
