Annual Student Innovation Competition

 

Get your laptops, tablets and creative ideas flowing for the Annual AT&T Community NETwork Student Innovation Competition

 

The goal of the contest: To innovate either an AT&T product or service or any product or service from the telecommunications/technology industry.

 

Semi-finalists will be invited to present their ideas in front of a panel of AT&T executives. You must be able to attend the final competition on a date TBD at AT&T’s Bedminster, NJ location.

 

This is your chance to create the product you always wished existed!

Please carefully read all contest rules and make sure all entries area submitted by the deadline. No late entries will be accepted.

Contest Details and Rules:

 

Contest submissions will be accepted from dates TBD and is open to any New York/New Jersey high school student in grades 9-12.

 

Contestants will provide:

A one page Word document explaining their innovation proposal along with any pictures they may choose to include.

 

A review panel will review all responses by date TBD and notify 6 semifinalists to create a presentation and come to AT&T and present their ideas at our AT&T Bedminster, NJ location (One AT&T Way, Bedminster, NJ 07921) on date TBD at 10am in front of AT&T executive judges. Program will run from 10am-1:30pm day of the event. Schools are expected to provide transportation for students to and from event and get appropriate permission from parents.

 

The 6 Semifinalists will be asked to give:

1) A 3-5 minute PowerPoint presentation

2) They will be judged based on the creativity and completeness of their ideas and presentations.

 

The winner will be announced the day of the event. One winner will receive a tablet. Runner up prizes will vary. Specific tablet TBD. The winner is responsible for obtaining wireless service and a voice, text and/or data plan if they choose to.

 

The event is expected to last from 10am-1:30pm. Send submissions via email to [email protected] no later than date TBD.
