Community Service Committee
This is one of three committees you can join as a member of the Irvington HS FBLA Chapter. The purpose of this committee is to identify, plan, and coordinate community service activities our members can participate in. These activities can include March of Dimes walks, Breast Cancer walks, and other volunteer events.
Members of the IHS FBLA Chapter are required to perform 20 hours of Community Service every year. Community Service hours can assist you with admittance to the National Honor Society and scholarship applications as well as give you a sense of making a difference. Causes can include animal welfare, children's issues, church activities, community issues, environmental protection, healthcare, and fighting poverty.
Volunteer service is required for some activities, events, and all trips. See an Executive Board member or Mr. Romano for more information.
