Shapes, Lines, and Colors

 

                       

 

 

Ice Cream Cone

 

Standards-1.1,1.3,1.4

 

 

Objective: Students will be able to create an ice cream cone using shapes, lines, and colors.

 

 

Review: We are going to use shapes, lines and bright colors to create an ice cream cone. What shape do you think we will use for the cone? What shape do you think we will use for the ice cream? What lines do you think we will use for the texture on the your cone?

 

 

1. Draw a big triangle on the bottom half of your page for you cone. Add lines up and down and side to side for texture on your cone. 

 

2. Draw a half circle for with a wavy line at the bottom for your ice cream. You may add as many scoops as you want on top of your cone. 

 

3. Now it is time to design your background. You may add a pattern, dots, stripes, etc. Be create and have fun!  

 

4. Last it is time to color. Remember to use bright colors and color in all of the white.
