Texture Bunny

Standard: 1.2,1.3

 Objective: Students will be able to understand how to use textures in this art project.

 

Materials: Bunny worksheet, crayons or any art supplies, and a pencil

 

Motivation: Talk about textures that are found around the house. Examples: rubber bands, clips, sandpaper, cloth, and fur. Textures are found all around us. we see them in nature, on our pets, and even on our playgrounds.   

 

Step 1: Use different types on lines ( dashes, zig-zag, straight, ect.) to add textures to your bunny. You can use one line or make a pattern and use different lines.  

 

Step 2: Now it is time to design a spring background you can add flowers, rainbows and even eggs.  

 

Step 3: Last it is now time to color make sure you color in your bunny and your background.
