Materials: Paper, pencils, art coloring supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers etc.)

Motivation: A Zentangle is a miniature abstract work of art created by a collection of patterns. It is typically done on a paper tile using black pencil and black pen. However if you want to use color you may. The creators of the Zentangle  are Rick Robers and Maria Thomas.

Step 1- Watch the video to see how to create a zentangle and then follow the steps to create your own Zentangle.

Step 2. Start by drawing your hand and using lines to create 10-15 different sections for your patterns.

Step 3- Next, create patterns in each section.  Now comes the fun part. Grab your  crayons, colored pencils, or markers, etc. and Begin filling each section with color.
