Unfortunately, after a perspicacious 2016-2017 school year of projects and entertainment--speeches, which prepared students for college and career communication; commercials, which aired on local television; poetry slam battles, which showcased the winner A. Lewis over the school announcements; student films, which promoted visual competencies never tried; and student-written, one-act plays, which featured stirring performances and inventive designs--, Mr. Overacker will not be teaching Speech & Drama I this 2017-2018 school year.
However, you can still access the documents for the class AND, because of the over $4,000 in grant scholarships, Wossman High School D.E.A.R. Wildcat Book Club and Wossman Thespians have teamed up and joined forces, creating the D.E.A.R. Wildcat Thespians, a group of actors, readers, rappers, poets, and performance artists. We would love for any student interested to join our club and attend the four annual meetings! See the flyer here: DEAR WILDCAT THESPIANS BROCHURE.pub
