I am Highly Qualified to Teach English and reading!

Bachelor of Arts in English

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

I received a B.A. degree in English with a minor in Cinema Studies.

My area of concentrations were in Southern American Literature, African American/Multicultural Literature, and the Victorian Era.

I am receiving my M.A.T. degree in Secondary Education from Louisiana Tech University.

Alternative Education

I am completing the Alternative Teacher Certification program at Louisiana Tech University.

My certification is in Secondary English.

2008-2010: ESOL paraprofessional at Northside Alternative School in Lafayette, La.

2010-present- Reading, phonics, English II, English III instructor and Literacy Interventionist at Wossman High School.
