Nearly every American home has a computer and printer.  While some people return the used cartridges to the stores or mail them in, the rest end up in landfills, where they can threaten groundwater supplies.  The cartirdges contain arsenic, lead, copper, and other hazardous materials.

To help protect the ennvironment, our FFA chapter is collecting used in cartidges for recycling.  Several times a year, the chapter will send them to a recycler, who refills the eligible cartridges and recycles and disposes of the parts of the ineligible cartridges.  Please send in any used ink cartridges to help us with this campaign!
