CASE is a national curriculum of high rigor, inquiry-based courses in Agricultural Science.  Students lead themselves through well-organized activities within their subject matter of the class.  As the students advance into higher courses, the amount of self-driven research increases, as the does the expectations of their skills and knowledge in agriculture.

In order to offer these courses, the Agricultural Education instructor of our school must complete a training program in the summer.  Each course requires 65 - 100 hours of training for the instructor, who performs most of the activities, projects, problems, and lab experiments that the students will be experiencing in class.  Agricultural Education teachers must meet a set of qualifications by the end of each CASE Institute in order to be certified that CASE course.

Mr. Rudderow is certified in the following CASE courses:

  • Intro to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (2012)
  • Applications of Agricultural Science - Animal (2013)
  • Applications of Agricultural Science - Plant (2014)
  • Animal and Plant Biotechnology (2015)
  • Agricultural Power and Technology (2018)
