Learning is enhanced through hands-on activities in the field of agricultural science. Students in this class will be using sophisticated lab sensoring equipment, practicing proper laboratory techniques, and handling plants, animals, soil, and scientific equipment.
Enrollment in this class includes membership in the Penns Grove FFA Chapter, a local chapter of the New Jersey FFA Association and National FFA Organization.
Students who successfully complete Intro to Agriscience may take the other Agriscience courses at PGHS. Studies in plant science include Botany and Landscape Design. Students interested in animals may take Animal Science.
