What are some winter animals and where do they live?

What does winter look like where you live?

 

We are celebrating winter in Room 164. We will be reading books about winter, singing songs, and working with different activities. The students will be learning about snow, snowmen, animals that hibernate, winter holidays, and the seasons.

Please help your child create a winter theme diorama.  You can make a diorama using any box, such as a shoe box or cereal box.  You can put different winter animals that live in the cold such as polar bears or penguins.  Please also include snowflakes, snowmen or decorate with a holiday theme.  Please do not use any food items for decoration (pasta, dried rice, beans, marshmallows).  Thanks in advance!

 

Please encourage your child to use their imagination and creativity. Please send in your decorated boxes.

Queridas  Familias,

Durante el invierno, estamos estudiando la nieve, muñecos de nieve, animales que viven en el frio, y animales que duermen en el invierno. Vamos a leer libros, cantar canciones, y hacer proyectos.

Para nuestro proyecto por favor ayude a su hijo/hija para hacer una maqueta de invierno. Usted puede hacer la maqueta usando una caja y poniendo diferente objetos del invierno como nieve, animales que viven en el frio como pingüinos y osos polares. Por favor motívele para que use su imaginación y creatividad. Por favor no uso algomente de comida para decoracion (pasta, arroz seca, habichuelas, marshmallows).

Por favor entrega las cajas decoradas.
