     Classroom In Action

 

We will begin the Doctor's Office and Hospital theme in our classroom.  We will learn about the jobs and responsibilities of different roles and children will also pretend to be family members visiting the doctors.   Please continue to encourage reading at home and have fun drawing and writing with your child.  Children should practice these skills every day.   

We are also practicing and learning social skills, taking turns, emergent writing and reading, including meeting mathematics objectives.  You can ask your child to look for signs all around and invite them to help you write your shopping list and count items into the basket.  It is very important to interact with your child daily and limit electronic devices such as iPads, television and phones for games. Thank you.

 

 

Reminder

 

Flu Season: If your child is sick, please follow nurse guidelines and stay at home.  Check the WNY school district website for useful information.

Always come to school in your school uniform.  Jeans and colored pants are not acceptable.  Please follow the district school uniform policy.
