Classroom In Action

 

We will begin the Supermarket/ Grocery Store in our classroom.  We will encourage children to interact and role play with friends to build on skills they learned.   Please continue to read at home and have fun drawing and writing with your child.  Children should practice these skills every day.   

We are practicing and learning social skills, taking turns, emergent writing and reading, including meeting mathematics objectives.  You can ask your child to look for signs all around and invite them to help you write your shopping list and count items into the basket.  Don't forget to ask them about the prices, i.e, Can you look for the number 9? or play a game to see how many 1, 2,3’s they can find at the grocery store.  Thank you.

 

Reminder

 

• Please make sure to bring in the FLU vaccine update for your child.

• Always come to school in your school uniform.  Jeans are not acceptable, as per district school uniform policy.  

• If your child is sick, please follow nurse guidelines.

• Lunch menus and school calendar can be found on the school website.
