Hi Parents! I am Ms. Lulu and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. I have been an early childhood educator in West New York for 22 years. This is my 11th year at Public School #2.
I would also like to introduce Ms. Magaly, the assistant teacher, who has also been recognized as a ParaProfessional of the Year. Together, we will nurture and encourage your child to explore all the exciting centers we have in the classroom and experience the best that we offer in our Early Childhood Program.
Our Early Childhood Program
Our Early Childhood program follows a research based curriculum for our Pre-k students called Tools of the Mind. The curriculum has been implemented since 2006 and the district have seen amazing results in the overall academic growth of our students. The children will practice emergent writing, reading, basic preschool skills, and most importantly, the exploration and socialization through play. It is such a pleasure to have your child in our class this year.
