Monthly Homework
I understand the importance of reinforcing academic skills at home, while balancing time with family, extra curricular activities, and social events. Homework will be assigned monthly and can be easily done throughout the month.
Spelling Menu
A monthly spelling menu will come home the first school day of the month. It has fun, monthly, seasonal activities to help your child practice his/her weekly words in fun ways. Complete activities in your child's Spelling Journal. Spelling homework will be checked at the end of the month.
Monthly Reading Log
Your child will bring home a monthly Reading Log the first school-day of the month. The reading log allows your child to keep track of his or her reading throughout the month. Students who read at home and return a log at the end of the month will receive $100 in Classroom Bucks!
Math Packet
A math skill packet will come home at the beginning of the month. Monthly homework is reinforcement of a previously taught skill from in class. If your child struggles with his/her math homework please let me know. I will be sure to support his/her understanding in class during small group instruction.
