Tips for being a good classmate in an eLearning Environment
All students are expected to abide by all of the rules of the Sayreville AcceptableUse of Technology Agreement Grades 4-12.
Google Meet Rules
● Please show up at the correct time & stay in the Meet for the entire time. Class codes are only to be used during your class time and only by students enrolled in the class.
● Whenever possible, find a quiet place away from distractions such as siblings, TV, pets, etc.
● Mute your microphone until you are called upon to speak
● If you are called upon to speak, unmute your microphone, so we can hear you
● If you have a question, put it in the chat
● Do not leave Private Comments on Google Classroom assignments for me. All communication must be via email or in office hours as I will not see your individual comments.
● Keep the sidebar chat on topic
● If you are responding to another student in the chat, write their name before your response
● Refrain from chewing gum or eating food in front of the camera
● Hang up at the end of the Meet. Always be respectful & responsible.
Google Classroom Rules

Please do not comment on posted assignments unless you are specifically asked to do so. If you have a question after class about the work, please use my office hours to ask your question. I will not be able to respond to individual questions on Google classroom as I will be in other classes throughout the day.
