Below is the info you will need to log into the Reading series each week. Once you log in, you will have access to the week's stories/poems/games that are assigned. We highly recommend you and your child read the stories at home together a couple of times.  You may also check Mrs. Paul's website for a Quizlet that she created to help with the vocabulary words each week.

For this week,to access the story you will first have to click on Open Court Reading

 

 1. For March 31: Click on Unit 9 Lesson 2

 

 2. Scroll all the way down to Start 

 

 3. The lesson will pop up

 

4. scroll all the way down to find the assignment.

 

 5. Click on the assignment and you will find the story for the week, (sometimes 2 stories) a poem (sometimes) for the week and/or the grammar game.

 

6. At the end of the week, please hit Turn in Assignment. 

 

 

 The reading tests will now have multiple choice and one short answer question based on our weekly stories. For the first few weeks I will still read any questions on the test that the children may have difficulty with, but we work up to the point when most of the children will read and answer the questions on their own. The children will always have access to their hard cover readers to look for the answers. 

The tests still have the phonics, vocab, and grammar components.
