The 100th day of school is February 10th! Typically, as Kindergartners the children dress up as 100- year olds on this day which makes the day fun and memorable for them.  This year we focus more on the number aspect of the hundred days. In class we count using dots, filling ten frames and other counting activities.  We were thinking it would be fun for the kids to create their own 100 day shirts.  If you google 100 day shirts you will find a plethora of ideas.  A t-shirt, long sleeve, or sweatshirt, in any color works for the project. You are free to be as creative as you would like in creating it.  Of course we have to be mindful of weapons and such not being allowed in school.  The children must have 100 of something on the shirt.  Also, if you’re glueing, be sure to use fabric glue or things will be falling off all day.  The plan is to wear these to school on the 100th day with their uniform bottoms.  Have a great time creating these with your kids and we cannot wait for the photo op!

Homework Club will start up on January 8. If there is anyone new that would like to join, please check the tab to the left as it includes all of the information regarding dates and payment.
