One 3 inch, 3 ring Binder

Class Notes - In order to assist students in understanding the main points of each chapter, I will use ActivInspire presentations to discuss text material. These presentations will be uploaded at the start of each chapter. Students are encouraged to print these notes out and make additional annotations in the margins during class. Filler paper should also be included in this section so students may record additional example problems that have been presented in class.

Student Reading Notes - Students will be given a reading assignment in the textbook almost every day. These reading assignments will have a specific topic or question associated with them. Students should take notes as they read in order to increase their understanding of each reading assignment.

One folder (Used to store any handouts and/or worksheets distributed in class)

Scientific Calculator (Suggested Model: Texas Instruments TI-30X) Students are highly encouraged to buy a scientific calculator if they already don’t have one. The recommended calculator above is readily available at Target or WalMart for less than $9.00.

Students are expected to come to class prepared and bring the supplies listed above to class each day.
