In order for class to proceed as smoothly as possible, it is expected that all students follow the school rules included in the student handbook and also follow the rules outlined below:

 

  1. Be on time. (Attendance will be recorded in PowerSchool two minutes after the bell rings. Anyone not in their seat when I take attendance will be marked late.)
  2. Be prepared. (Bring all requested supplies to class each day and turn in assignments on time.)
  3. One person speaks at a time.
  4. Please remain respectful to all class participants.
  5. Use of electronic devices for non-educational purposes and/or without teacher permission is prohibited as per state law.

 

Consequences for breaking class rules are as follows with the exception of the electronic device policy. 

  1. Verbal warning and a short conference after class
  2. Verbal reprimand and a call home to discuss the issue with a parent
  3. Referral to the discpiplinarian

As per school policy, violation of the electronic device policy will result in immediate referral to the disciplinarian.
