Hi-Frequency Words
Weekly, students are introduced to new hi-frequency words. These are sight words that students practice to read accurately and fluently. When students master reading these words automatically, they improve their reading fluency which, in turn, improves their reading comprehension. The following are the first and second lists of words that your child should be able to recognize easily.
