My grades are divided into two parts: Projects and Class Participation.

Project durations will run between 1-3 weeks, depending on the amount of work needed for completion.  The grading for the project is based solely on the appearance of the work of art.

Class Participation covers everything else, effort and behavior.  Students are given a class participation grade weekly, not having anything to do with the duration of the project.

The following are the rubrics I use to set the grades for the students.  A rubric a a scale teachers use to fairly assign grades to classwork, homework, and the variety of assessments students are assigned.
