Dismissal Procedures
Please write your student’s usual dismissal method inside their red folder on the left hand side. If they are a bus rider, please tape a copy of their bus pass to the inside of their folder. If they will be a car rider, please write that in the folder. If your dismissal method alternates, write that. For example, you could write: Bus rider M/W/F Car rider T/TH. You will need to send in a note any day your student will be going home a different way than usual. Please be sure to call the office as soon as possible if your student's dismissal method changes during the day. Please note that I cannot guarantee I will be able to check emails during the day so please send a hand-written note or call the office with any dismissal changes.

Parking remains in the SLG lot. Entry only through the main doors. Please do not park on Hurley's Lane as it creates a narrow roadway for buses and cars to navigate safely.
Who is picking up your child?
If there will be a relative, family friend, or babysitter picking up your student on any given day, in place of either parent, please let us know. We will need a note stating the person's full name and relationship to the student. However, if it will be everyday, just let us know at the beginning of the year who it is and we will keep track of that. Please also note that we are not allowed to dismiss a student with a friend's parent at the last minute.
Bus Riders
If your student will be taking the bus home, they will walk to the back hall (by Mrs. Gross' room) and line up at that door. For the first couple of weeks, bus students will wear a bus tag with their name and bus number. This is for their safety and makes dismissal procedures run a lot smoother. Please send back bus tags every day.
PM Care
I have the list of students who will stay for PM Care. They will be dismissed from the classroom once the PM Care teachers are ready. If there is a day that your child will not attend PM Care, please send a note stating how they will go home that day.
