Graduation is fastly approaching (hard to believe) please make note of your child's speaking part and keep practcing the Lovely Lady Poem .

Grandparents Day is scheduled for Friday 5/17 , please send in the permission slip that was sent insta-alert if grandparents are visiting us on that day.

KINDERGARTEN PICNIC, 5/20 IS SCHEDULED TO BE A FUN DAY FOR ALL (RAIN DATE 5/22).

IT IS A GREAT OUTDOOR EVENT WITH GAMES , CRAFTS AND ACTIVITIES. 

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD WEAR THEIR GYM UNIFORMS , SUNSCREEN AND SNEAKERS. 

 

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SEND IN AN ADDITIONAL SNACK / LUNCH, AS IT IS  AN ACTION PACKED DAY AND THEY ARE USUALLY EXTRA HUNGRY! PLEASE ALSO SEND IN A LABLED BEACH TOWEL TO SIT ON. 

 

WE NEED YOUR  PERMISSION TO CONFIRM WHAT ITEMS YOUR CHILD CAN HAVE AT THE PICNIC . PLEASE  RETURN BY wEDNESDAY , MAY 8, 2024. 

 

 

 

 

OUR CLASS TRIP IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEDNESDAY, 3/6. PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD IN WITH A BROWN BAG LUNCH , NO BOTTLES PLEASE. WE WILL BE LEAVING BY 9:15 BY BUS AND RETURNING AT APPROXIMATELY 1:00.

OUR THANKSGIING PRAYER SERVICE IS ON TUESDAY, 11/21, AT 10:15.

YOUR CHILD SHOULD PRACTICE THE REBUS NIGHTLY AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING ALL

"PICTURE WORDS".

CHILDREN WILL BE ASSIGNED PARTS NEXT WEEK , IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT 

RECEIVE A PART, THEY WLL BE ASSIGNED ONE AT GRADUATION.

             INTRODUCTION TO DECODABLES IN READING 

 

 

                        This week we will begin our Reading program which consists of a Pre- decodable and eventually

                        a Decodable that enables your child to master fluency, practice sight words and use phonetic 

                        awareness skill to help them begin their Reading journey. The Pre Decodable will be sent home 

                        and will be noted on the homework calendar, please review it and eventually practice reading it. 

                        Please return it signed and dated, I will then return it so you can keep it to practice and develop a 

                        "Just Right " Reading library as your  child begins his or her reading journey. Reading with your

                        child for as little as 10 minutes a day produces great progress in their skills. 

                        Have fun and enjoy this remarkable journey your little learner is on , as alawys make learning
