This is a gentle reminder that if the temperature is above 32°F and it is not raining, we will head outside for recess.  Please make sure your child has appropriate outerwear for outdoor play.

PARENTS, PLEASE SIT DIRECTLY BEHIND THE KINDERGARTNERS, MARKED RESERVED PEWS. THESE SEATS ARE FOR PARENTS ONLY.

ALL OTHER GUESTS OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS PLEASE SIT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHURCH FACING THE ALTAR.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE AYDIN FAMILY FOR OUR TURKEY DONATION. OUR THANKSGIVING FOOD PROJECT INFORMATION WILL BE IN YOUR CHILD'S FOLDER TODAY . PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THE DONATION DEADLINE 11/21. MUCH THANKS FOR GIVING DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.  

 

 

 

 

As a reminder, our Thanksgiving Prayer Service is on Tuesday, November 26th, at 10:15 AM. Our class will dress as Pilgrims.

 The cafeteria will be closed on Thursday, 11/14, and Friday, 11/15, as our Turkey Feast is scheduled for Friday, 11/15. Please provide a packed lunch for Thursday. If your child is not participating in the Feast on Friday, please also send a packed lunch for that day.

 

 

 

 

 

Please review your child’s part for the Thanksgiving event with them each night. They work very hard at school, and extra practice at home makes a big difference.

 

 

 

Book Fair Week is November 18th - 22nd

 

Our class shopping time is Tuesday, November 19th, from 8:24 to 8:55 AM. Feel free to come and shop with your child to pick out some “Just Right Books.” It is an excellent opportunity to go holiday shopping! Please bring your own reusable bag to transport your purchases. 

 

 

Tomorrow, November 6th is a half-day with a 12:30 PM dismissal.

 

 

Thanksgiving Prayer Service

 

We distributed the parts Part on Friday, so please check your child’s folder and practice their lines with them daily. The service is very special! All children who did not receive a part in the prayer service will participate in the graduation ceremony.

 

 

 

Halloween is next Thursday, October 31st! Our parade will begin at 11:00 AM. 

It is a half day and the cafeteria will be closed for ordering.


Children are welcome to wear their costumes to school. Please remember that no scary masks or weapons may be worn as part of costumes.


We are looking forward to a spooktacular day!


Goodie bags are welcome, but please do not include any food items.

 

 

 

Please provide a hard copy note if your daughter is attending Daisy's.  

 

 

 

Please check your child’s folder tonight. Inside is a copy of the rebus for our Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Please keep it at home for nightly practice.

PICTURE DAY IS THIS FRIDAY, 10/18 . IT IS OUR GYM DAY , PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD DRESSED IN REGULAR SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR PICTURE WITH SNEAKERS FOR GYM.

 

 

We have half-day dismissals on Wednesday, October 16th, 24th, and 31st. The cafeteria will be closed for ordering, so please remember to provide lunch for your child.

 

This Thursday, October 17th, we will have a school-wide "Dress Down Day" for $1.00. All proceeds will support the diocese's Hurricane Relief Fund.
Please send your child in with a labeled payment.

Reminder: Tomorrow, September 4th!


Our first full day of school is tomorrow, September 4th. Please remember to send your child with a labeled snack in a paper bag and a water bottle (also labeled) to help keep things healthy.
Lunches should be packed in a labeled lunch box with your child’s name, as some students have similar ones.


If you haven’t already sent in your photo for our Jesus Board, please do so as soon as possible. Also, don’t forget to send in art smocks and a seasonal change of clothes, as we’ll have Specials that require these items.


The children had a wonderful day today. Be sure to ask them about Chester—he brought great joy to our hearts!
