restraint techniques and alternatives, legal implications r/t use of restraints
risk factors for elopement- confusion
-Safety devices (bed/chair alarms, wandergaurd bracelets)
-Infection prevention and control
maintaining a clean environment
factors that contribute to spread of disease causing organisms
s/sx of infections-redness, warmth, swelling, odor, pain etc
practices that decrease the risk of exposure to disease-causing organisms
-Emergencies
emergency and disaster response protocols
immediate life saving techniques (cpr)
evacuation procedures (RACE)
-Fire prevention and safety (PASS)
