3D DESIGN AND PRINTING

All Northfield STEAM students will learn to design in 3 dimensions. This unit enhances students' skills in geometry, software navigation, and critical thinking. It will link the topic of engineering with solving "real world" problems. Students will create projects using an application called Tinkercad. We have 2 Lulzbot 3D printers in the STEAM lab for printing student designs. At the beginning of the year, students will set up their SINGLE SIGN ON GOOGLE TINKERCAD accounts.
