COMPUTER PROGRAMMING AND ROBOTICS

All Northfield STEAM classes will study computer science. Students will learn computer programming principles by decoding online puzzles using a cloud-based program called Code.org. Students will participate in robotics by solving challenges with the Wonder Robots Dash and Dot. All students will participate in the HOUR OF CODE WEEK during the first week of December. At the beginning of school, students will set up their accounts at CODE.ORG. Students can access their accounts by going to the NCS web page. Click on RESOURCES-RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS-ELEMENTARY STEAM PAGE.  Students click on the PINK CODING icon, click on their class, and click on their secret picture.
