Daily Plan Monday 4/6

 

Literacy

  • Beginning Sounds: Look at the picture in each box. Bounce out the beginning sounds and color in the letter that matches.
  • At The Farm Passage: Read the short story titled "At the Farm". Remember to use your pointer power, beginning sounds and continue the pattern! Read the passage 3 times and color in a happy face each time you read! If you get stuck on a word, tap it out!! After reading, answer the simple questions at the bottom. See if you can use a yellow marker or crayon to highlight any POWER WORDS you see!
  • ARC Bookshelf (optional for about 15 minutes)
  • ARC Adventure (optional for about 15 minutes)
  • RAZ-Kids (optional for about 15minutes)  

 

Math

  • Counting Objects: Count the objects in each box. Cut out the numbers at the bottom of the page and glue the correct number next to the correct number of objects.
  • Counting to 100 by ones and tens
  • Splash Math (Optional for about 15 minutes)

 

Science

  • Gravity and Rocket Experiment: Follow the step by step directions to make your rocket! Review the safety rules. Test out how far your rockets goes three times! You may measure how far it goes by using a ruler or objects (ex: 15 pennies long, 23 cubes long) Have fun with this!  

 

Daily Plan Tuesdy 4/7

 

Literacy:

  • Letter Practice: Look at the letter in the box. Use your best handwriting to write the letter on the lines 5 times! Take your time and think about if the letter is tall, small or falls! Can you think of a word that begins with that letter sound? Go on a scavenger hunt around the house to find some objects that begin with those letters! Math

  • Review skills: Follow the directions for boxes A-D. Box D is an additon practice question (3+1=4)
  • Splas Math for 15 minutes

 

Science

  • Recycling: Talk about different items that you recycle and some reasons we might recylce. Look at the recycing graph. Count how many of each objects there are and shade in the boxes in the graph to match. Write the number next to the row.

 

Daily Plan Wednesday 4/8

 

Literacy

  • Beginning Sounds: Look at the picture in each box. Bounce out the beginning sounds and color in the letter that matches.
  • yllables: Look at the animal in each box. Clap out the word to find out how many syllables it has -Remember our jingle!! "Syllables are how many beats are in a word!"(Ex: Pretzel- /pret/-/zel/ has 2 syllables.) Color in the number that matches the correct number of syllables.
  • ARC Bookshelf (optional for about 15 minutes)
  • ARC Adventure (optional for about 15 minutes)
  • RAZ-Kids (optional for about 15minute

Math

  • How Many In All?: Count the food in the top row and record the number. Count the food in the bottom row and record the number. Count how many pieces of food you have all together and record the number.
  • Splash Math for 15 minutes

 

Science

  • I can compare motion: Read each sentence and copy the underlined word. Cut and glue the pictures to match. Color in the picture.

Literacy

  • Beginning Sounds: Look at the picture in each box. Bounce out the beginning sounds and color in the letter that matches.
  • Lost Passage: Read the short story titled "Lost". Remember to use your pointer power, beginning sounds and continue the pattern! Read the passage 3 times and color in a happy face each time you read! If you get stuck on a word, tap it out!! After reading, answer the simple questions at the bottom. See if you can use a yellow marker or crayon to highlight any POWER WORDS you see!

Math

 

  • Number Bonds: Look at the two numbers in the small circles! Use your fingers to add those two numbers together. If the two numbers added together equal the whole number in the large circle, color the box purple. If the two numbers do not add together to give you the number in the big circle, color the box yellow
  • Splash Math for 15 minutes

 

Science:

  • Push/Pull Sort: Cut out the pictures and decide if the picture shows a push or a pull. Glue the picture in the correct column.

 

Tomorrow we will have a ZOOM at 1pm! I wll be reading a Spring Story and we will try a directed drawing! Make sure to bring a piece of paper and a pencil!
