-I hold a MA.Ed (Masters of Education) in curriculum K - 8.

-I am professionally certified and hold the following certifications: 

Elementary Education K - 6

ESOL K-12

Media Specialist PreK - 12th

Reading

 

-This is my 18th year teaching for the Lee County School District. 

-I've been a Reading Renaissance National Honor Roll teacher.
-I have served in the following capacities through the years:

         -NY Board of Education mentor

         -district inservice design team and cadre member

         -grade level chair

         -school selected admin leadership team member

         -A+ team member 

         -school improvement plan committee member

         -software and curriculum trainer

 

 

I LOVE MY JOB! Have you ever met anyone who wakes up in the morning excited to go to work? If you haven't, now you have! I can't imagine myself doing anything else! It doesn't get any more exciting than being a part of a child's first years of schooling and helping them learn and grow! It's even more rewarding helping a child learn to read - no other grade sees a child go through so much growth! The beginning formative years of a child's education is an AMAZING time in a child's life!

 

Aside from my passion for teaching, my greatest love is my family - especially my 7th grader! She loves school and learning too! The love of learning is contagious!
