Course Description: 7th-grade mathematics will focus on Topic 1: Rational Number Operations, Topic 2: Analyze and Use Proportional Relationships, Topic 3: Analyze and Solve Percent Problems, Topic 4: Generate Equivalent Expressions, Topic 5: Solve Problems Using Equations and Inequalities, Topic 6: Use Sampling to Draw Inferences About Populations, Topic 7: Probability, Topic 8:Solve Problems Involving Geometry

Course Policies:

Student Work: Students will be expected to complete assignments outside of class time on a regular basis. All students are expected to read class material, think critically, and write effectively. Students are expected to use complete sentences, proper grammar, and correct spelling in every written performance.

Extra Credit: Opportunities for extra credit will be offered from time to time. Extra credit is extra work above and beyond the usual homework, not work used to cover up missing work. This is given at teacher discretion.

Absences: If a student is absent, it is HIS/HER responsibility to get all late work from the teacher and return it in a timely manner.
