Beth Baur is the co-creator of the award-winning MHS Performing Arts Academy. She entered the program as a teaching artist in 2008, and in 2010 began her full-time tenure to helm the multilevel PAA Acting program. She is a three-time Excellence in Education Tony Award "Honorable Mention" recipient (2016, 2017, and 2018) for her work with the Performing Arts Academy. Ms. Baur won the prestigious 2021 JoAnne Fox Award for outstanding NJ Theater Teacher at the Montclair State Theater Night Awards. She is a member of the Actors Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA).  Ms. Baur began her journey as a professional actor at the Conservatory of Theater Arts at Webster University where she received her BFA in Acting and became a member of Actor's Equity at the age of 17. She has worked in all facets of the industry: Off-Broadway, regional theaters, TV, Film, Commercials, voice-over, and print, and has directed many productions throughout the area. Ms. Baur is the founder and co-director of New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts and has served as an adjunct professor at Montclair University where she teaches Film III and Acting in the Art and Design Department. She is happy to be a part of the Performing Arts Academy at Memorial High School.   Ms. Baur is one of NJ's Top College Audition Coaches with students accepted to the country's most highly respected college BFA Acting and Musical Theater Universities.
