Please remember…

Take Pete the Cat along with you!!

 

           Pete the Cat would like to share a weekend with your child.  Everyone will have a chance at taking Pete home for a weekend.  Pete will also bring along his special journal and their choice of book by Kimberly and James Dean.  Sometime on Sunday, please sit down with your child and discuss something that has happened during the weekend that you would like to share with the rest of the class.

            Your child may write the entry or dictate to an adult what s/he wants to say.  This does not have to be a lengthy entry.

            Please return Pete on Monday, along with his journal and book.  We will then have a time of sharing with the class about Pete's latest adventures! (Pete and your child might have enjoyed a special T.V. program or visited a park or relatives, etc.)

            Please remind your child to take special care of Pete the Cat; everyone would like a chance to enjoy his company.
