A.R. Point Clubs  

Students will be added as they reach the different point club levels by reading and testing on their AR books, this will also be on the weekly newsletters! 

***Please be aware that for a child to go on the news, they must have reached a new point club level AND they also MUST have an average of 85% on AR tests taken.*** 

 

 

There are quarterly AR incentives for students who meet their set AR goals. All students are required to maintain an 85% average on their tests (which is why we ask that they read their books 2-3 times before testing), and they each will have an individual point goal to earn as well. Point goals are based on their individual reading levels and are never set higher than they can attain because as teachers, we want them to achieve the 85% average more than we want them to earn 100+ points.

**Not every child will make their AR goal each quarter, but it gives them something to strive for and encourages them to focus more on reading, fluency, and comprehending what they read, rather than trying to rush through books to earn the most points.
