Welcome to Ms. Jeanfreau's Corner of the Lab School!
I hope everyone has had an opportunity to rest and have fun this summer!
The main idea I want to focus on this year will be "If you can't find sunshine, be the sunshine" This will be integradted into everything we do, as I try to impress upon the children that by sharing kindness and happiness, we all receive it too!
This is my 27th year teaching (25th year of 4th Grade), and I have earned all of my degrees from SLU. I am certified to teach Elementary Education (Grades 1-8) and Special Education (Mild/Moderate K-12). My graduate degree is in Administration (Educational Leadership-Principalship), and I also have a minor in Visual Arts. As you can see, I love learning! I plan to learn as much as my new kids this year, and I know we will have fun in the process.
Please feel free to explore this website regularly in order to be aware of policies and expectations of 4th Grade. I wish I could say that once I post information that it would not have to change, but as the year progresses, things have a way of popping up. When this happens, I will give you all a heads up in order for you to look at new information.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email message. I cannot wait to work with your children!
