We will be learning about Ancient Civilizations and religions this year!  Students will have small books that act as "textbooks."  Students may not write in these books, and they will be collected once units are completed.  I will also give students copies of the books, to be contained in a small binder, and these copies will be used for highlighting and taking notes in the margins.  These notes and higlighted concepts serve as a study guide of sorts for each chapter quiz.  Once all quizzes in a unit have been taken, the kids will take unit tests (study guides will be provided).
