Social Studies

Lessons will include studying American history and regions of the United States. We will study economics, government, and events from our past. We will be using two texts, Scott-Foresman Addison Wesley: Regions and McGraw Hill: United States History Volume 1.

 

Grades will include weekly classwork and quizzes, along with unit tests that will be given every 2 - 3 weeks.  These larger assessments will be announced ahead of time, and students will receive a study guide before hand.

 

Study guides will outline the main information to study for the test.  Test questions will not be given. Study guides are a guide, and as such may include a bulleted list of items to study, and/or questions. It may not include answers to these questions. All answers may be found in the class materials or text provided.  Studying should include, but not be limited to, the text book.
