Who's Who at North Live Oak Elementary?

 

^^Our fellow fourth grade teachers are Mrs. Kimberly Vellier, Mrs. Ashley Buller, Mrs. Priscilla Taylor, and Mrs. Wendy Trant.

 

^^Our administrators are Mrs. Michell Stone,Principal, and Mrs. Jeanine Newsom and Mrs. Melissa Dubois, acting as Principal Designee. Mrs. Brandy Sheffield is our Curriculum Coordinator / Instructional Coach.

 

^^The fourth grade Physical Education teacher is Coach Sealy Pettavino this year.  Our classes attend every Monday and Wednesday for 30 minutes. Tennis shoes should be worn to school on these days for ease of movement when doing physical activities.

 

 

^^North Live Oak's school librarian is Mrs. Jessica Walock. Each homeroom class goes to the library once each week. Our library day for this year is Thursday.  They will be checking out books, reading, and taking AR tests there. Please make sure books are returned promptly and taken care of. Any lost or damaged books must be paid for.

 

^^Our fourth graders go to one of our computer labs three times a week to work on English language arts and math skills to both remediate and reinforce learning as well as enrich those who are progressing quickly.  Students will also be working on keyboarding skills this year to help them be better prepared for taking the LEAP test on line.  These labs are run by Mrs. Deena Browning, Mrs. Christy Smith, and Mrs. Bridget Arceneaux.

 

^^Special education servicesare provided to those students in need by special education certified teachers. In fourth grade that is Mrs. Rachel Bradley.Our teachers and our special education students are assisted by para-educators, like Ms. Angela Gann, as well. 

 

^^Our school counselor is Rhonda Whitam is available daily for students in need of someone to talk to or confide in outside of the classroom. In addition, RKM counseling services has a representative at our school who also sees students in need or having mental health issues.
