Welcome to my webpage. 
Hello! My name is Laura Gregaydis, and I am excited to be a PE teacher at BHES! I began my teaching career in Paulding County in 1999 as a 2nd grade teacher at Nebo Elementary (Dr. Viness was the PE teacher there at the time!) Since then, I have taught EIP, Title I, 5th grade, and STEM. I was an Instructional Coach for eight years as well.
I am from Lake George, NY in the Adirondack Mountains, and I decided to move here for some sunshine! I received my B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education from the State Univeristy of NY @ Oneonta. I achieved my M.S. degree in Reading from the State University of NY @ Albany. I continued on to earn my Specialist Degree in School Improvement from Piedmont College. I am also gifted certified and certified to teach Social Studies in middle school. While doing my undergraduate work at SUNY Oneonta, I played collegiate softball. I also became certified to coach. I have always had a passion for sports and fitness, so I decided to marry my two loves of physical activity and teaching!
I am married to my husband, Jason, who also works in our school district. We have a daughter and a son. We also have a Golden Doodle and a Miniature Schnauzer. I enjoy running, reading, traveling, and watching the NY Yankees play baseball!
I am very blessed to be a part of the Wolfpup familiy and community! We are going to have a great year!!!
