Mrs. Mixon's Biography

     Hi!  I am Mrs. Mixon.  I have been teaching Physical Education 30 years.  The first 14 years were in Cherokee County at R.M. Moore Elementary, 4 years at Shelton Elementary, and this is my 12th year at Burnt Hickory Elementary.  I Graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1990 with a B.S. Degree in Health and Physical Education.  I have two children Matt and Morgan.  

     I really enjoy working with children and watching them become physically fit.  It is exciting to see a smile on their face when they are participating during their Physical Education class.  Hopefully, all students will enjoy being physically fit and will continue to exercise and play in various sports and activities outside of P.E.
