Hi, my name is Coach Bob (Dau). I've been teaching in Physical Education now for 30 years. I was Born in Charleston, S.C., but didn't stay long as my dad was in the Navy as a submariner. We ended up moving around almost every year, living mainly in San Diego(Mission Bay), California as well as Seattle, Washington, then Back to San Diego. And a few others in between. I graduated from Annandale High School in Northern Virginia, just a few minutes from Washington D.C. Then graduated from West Virginia University, great school set in the mountains just about an hour south of Pittsburgh. I have one son, Robby, who gradyated from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs,and played baseball. He is headed to Pilot's school in Texas. I always treat my students as if they were mine, but only have to bring my own home!!! Believe it or not, some of my former students have graduated college and are starting families of their own, boy do I feel old now!!! It's great to see them grow up. As I have always said "kids are my business". I am looking forward to working with your children helping them learn to love to be fit. Lets have a great year!!!
