Ms. Loder-

This is my sixth and half year teaching middle school, and my third year teaching STEAM and Financial Literacy. In the past, I have taught 7th and 8th Grade Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science (Chemistry and Physics). I also assist with teaching 6th-grade science and math as an in-class support teacher and have taught middle school math and English-language arts at High Mountain's Summer Learning Academy. I am thrilled to teach at HMS for my fifth year, and I love educating others about science, technology, engineering, art and math.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a paraprofessional for three years in Vernon,NJ as well as a substitute teacher (grades 5-12) and replacement art teacher (grades 7-8). I also was an assistant supervisor for an afterschool program for two years at the Vernon PAL (grades K-8). I received my teaching certifications in Elementary Education (K-6), Middle School Science (5-8 Endorsement), and Special Education Certification (TOSD) from Caldwell University in 2017 and 2020. I also received my Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Minor in Biology from Stockton University in 2014. Prior to that, I received my Associate's in Biology from Sussex County Community College in 2011. Currently, I am working on finishing my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and Supervisor Certification from Caldwell University.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy volunteering for various charities and organizations. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going on adventures (such as hiking the Appalachian Trail and traveling). In addition, I have an artistic background and love to craft, draw, paint, tinker, and even cook/bake in my spare time.
