Work Schedule to Follow Each Day:

 

Daily Writing: 

Wednesday:  Read the two Scholastic magazines and complete the worksheets for each one.

Thursday and Friday:  Continue our weather research. Go to Epic and select a book from my Weather Collection.  Use the organizer in the folder I gave you to record facts about this extreme weather.  Create a good copy on the nice paper just like the ones you have done at school. At the end of the week, you will have two finished paragraphs about weather that you will place in the folder and bring back to school when you return.

 

Reading:
Visit Razkids.com and have your child log in. Look up our school and my username: jgifford3. Once you find your child's name, click on it and they can select any books from their reading assignment or the book room. It's great reading and comprehension practice. Make sure they complete the reading comprehension questions at the end of each story. They can read as many books as they like on this site!

 

Math: Each day we will discuss the lesson listed below. If you need to review, visit the My Math website listed on your child's password sheet.

 

Wednesday: My Review, pages 631-634

Thursday: Chapter 10 test

Friday: Dreambox Math

 

If you want to do more math, go to Dreambox.com after completing the day's assignment. 

 

Handwriting: Complete two pages of handwriting each day. Take your time and write neatly!
